Our story
pdftoolz started as a side project — a clean, no-nonsense alternative to the overcrowded PDF tool landscape. Most existing tools either limit you aggressively, add their branding to your files, or bury the useful features behind multiple upgrade prompts.
We built all 29 tools from the ground up with one rule: it has to work completely, cleanly, and without friction on the free tier. No watermarks anywhere. No signup wall before you can try anything. No dark patterns.
The business model is simple: if you use pdftoolz heavily and find it valuable, a Pro subscription gives you unlimited operations, larger file support, and no ads — and that revenue keeps the free tier running for everyone else.
